Biographical / Historical
Established in 1865, The Reformed Church of the Strangers of (West) Philadelphia, PA changed its name in 1884 to St. John's (English) Reformed Church. In 1935, it merged with Old First Church, Philadelphia. This church should not be confused with St. John's (German) Reformed Church of Philadelphia, which was established in 1886 and closed in 2003.
