Biographical / Historical
In 1924 this church merged with Salem Church to form Salem-Zion Reformed Church. In 1968 St. Matthew's UCC merged with Salem-Zion - the new congregation kept the name Salem-Zion UCC. Pastors who served include: 1852-1854 C. A. Bonekemper 1854-1887 Nicholas Gehr 1887-1920 Peter Henry Dippell
