Biographical / Historical
Originally all of the churches of Davidson County were part of the Davidson Charge. The Davidson Charge was divided into the Upper and Lower Davidson Charges in 1864. At this point, P. Allison Long became pastor of the Lower Davidson Charge and the Upper Davidson Charge, which included the Beulah Church, was served by Thomas Long.
