Biographical / Historical
In 1816, Lutheran and German Reformed congregations held church services in a building on land given by Peter Betzer, hence the name Betzer Church. After the Reformed congregation purchased the Lutheran congregation's share of the building, the church became known as Zion's Reformed Church. In August of 1876 the cornerstone was laid for a new church building. The church closed probably around 1923. Clergy: Weisz James Heffley Earl Anneshensley Heiler Loucks Ream
