Biographical / Historical
The church as part of the Clear Spring Charge under the pastorate of Rev. Daniel Bragonier 1834-1839 and then Rev. W.H. Zimmerman 1840-1841. In 1854, the church was re-organized under the pastorate of Rev. Henry Wagner 1853-1856 as part of the Mercersburg Charge. The longest pastorate was that of Rev. Issac G. Brown 1857-1883. The fifth pastor was J.W. Knappenberger 1883-1884, then S. Wolf 1885-1888 and W.M. Deatrick 1889-1892.
