Scope and Contents

This collection is housed in one 6" box. 6th Evangelical and Reformed Church in Cleveland, Ohio opened in 1879. It operated independently until 1923, when it merged with 7th Evangelical and Reformed Church (Cleveland, Ohio), becoming St. Matthew's Evangelical and Reformed Church. This collection consists of 2 Bound Volumes, labeled as Volume I and II. Volume 1 covers 1879-1885 & 1899. In Volume I, it contains history, Member Lists, Confirmations, Communicants, Deaths, Marriages, and other relevant records. Volume 2 covers 1900-1913. You will find the same information as in Volume 1, with additional material. There is also Record of Organization (1877) and Articles of Incorporation (1878). In addition, there will also be an Oversized File Folder Housed in Locked Case #2.
