Biographical / Historical

William Henry Bollman was born on June 9, 1895 in Buffalo NY. His father was Rev. William Bollman and his mother was the former Emily Dieckman. He graduated from Mission House College in 1917 and the Lancaster Theological Seminary in 1920. He received his Doctor of Divinity in 1935 from Franklin and Marshall College. He was ordained on August 20, 1920 and served in New Brunswick New Jersey until 1927 and in Bethlehem , Pennsylvania until 1932. He married Ruth Ellen Coxon in 1922 and they had two children, Mary Ellen and William Harbaugh. He was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed Ministerium of Lancaster County, the Lancaster County Ministerial Association , the board of the Landis Valley Museum and the Rotary Club. He was a Mason. William died In Lancaster on November 25, 1954 at the age of 59.
