Biographical / Historical
The Ragersville Reformed Congregation was founded by Swiss and German immigrants in 1837 Zion Reformed Church (formerly First) of Ragersville, records of 1847 to 1882 and 1893 to 1940. This is a Reformed Church, now UCC. It was incorporated in 1837. Bolinger lists the first pastor as beginning in 1827, but earlier baptismal records picked up in this book when it was begun show none by him before 1834.
