Biographical / Historical
In October of 1952 the Rev. J. William Arnold accepted the call of the Board of National Missionsto become the pastor of the new church known as Kaywin Community Church. the property on Catasauqua road became the parsonage and the basement was used for Sunday Church School, Sunday worship and all church related meetings and activities. The congregation adopted the name of the Church of the Manger on April 12, 1953 and the first permanent Consistory was elected. January 1953 land was purchased and a new church was built with groundbreaking November 8th. A second building was built in 1957. A new sancuary was built and dedicated in 1966-1967.
