Biographical / Historical
A Sunday Church School was organized on May 5, 1912 in the Jackson School House. Following closely, the Rev. Joseph Bachman conducted services of worship on alternate Sundays. Emmanuel Reformed Church was chartered on October 17, 1915. The congregation moved into a small frame chapel that was just east of the current church. Congregants laid the cornerstoneof the new church in 1920. The new house of worship was dedicated October 7, 1923. The first pastor, Rev. Joseph P. Bachman served until 1928
